Dionne Jivan
MA Clin. Psychology (Stellenbosch)
At Palmwell Medical Centre we believe in a holistic approach and make use of a multidisciplinary team. In our Psychology Department, we have Clinical Psychologist Dionne Jivan and Educational Psychologist Ishara Naidu who are both HPCSA registered and qualified.
Both our psychologists work with an integrative approach based on the client’s emotional and mental health needs. We aim to provide all clients with a warm and comfortable space where they are able to explore the challenges they are facing.
In our department we work dynamically, and both Dionne and Ishara have training in various psychological techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and are both Brain Work Recursive Therapy certified (BWRT 1).
At our centre, we serve both adults and children and offer a variety of services based on client needs. In addition to psychotherapy, Dionne has experience in Neuropsychology, Intelligence (IQ), Scholastic, Personality and projective assessments.
Ishara Naidu
