Dr Wade Luke Palmer, Director of Palmwell Medical Centre, possesses an innate sense of compassion for community that blossomed at an early age. Growing up in a family with a heart for service, rooted within the Cape Flats, and having worked in the rural Northwest Province, Dr Palmer witnessed first-hand the disparities in healthcare access and the impact it had on families and communities. This early exposure to inequality sparked a fire within Dr Palmer to dedicate their life to the pursuit of equitable healthcare for all.
Driven by the desire to make a difference, Dr Palmer pursued a medical education with unwavering determination. Graduating from The University of Witwatersrand in 2014 with a BSc Degree and 2017 with his MBChB Medical degree, he emerged as a proficient physician armed with not only medical knowledge but also a profound understanding of the importance of a holistic approach to overall well-being.
Dr Palmer aims to provide solutions to improving access to affordable quality healthcare for people from all socio-economic groups through the use of technology and multi-stake holder involvement.
Dr Yusra Khan graduated from Stellenbosch university in 2018 , after which she spent several years working as Medical Officer in General Surgery and Emergency Medicine. With the knowledge and Skills acquired she went on to focus on Aesthetic medicine , Holistic full body wellness , Women’s Wellness and family integrated health and wellness

Dr. Firdows Scello has always been driven by a passion for helping others. From the time she was in Grade 3 and declared her dream of becoming a doctor on career day, she knew this was her calling. She graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2016, and soon after, she completed her internship at the renowned Groote Schuur Hospital.
Her journey continued with community service across a variety of primary and secondary care settings, including Mitchell’s Plain District Hospital, Heideveld Emergency Centre, and Hanover Park Clinic. It was during her family medicine rotation that Dr. Scello truly found her passion for general practice. She found it deeply rewarding to become part of her patients’ lives, guiding them through different stages of their health journey and forming lasting relationships.
Dr. Scello believes strongly in the power of primary healthcare, particularly in the prevention and early detection of illness. She sees it as a cornerstone of better health for individuals and communities alike. Her special interest in paediatrics reflects her love for working with children, whose creativity and unique perspectives continually inspire her.

As a young and upcoming doctor, Dr Mopp, from East London, Eastern Cape, brought a fresh spirit and an exciting attitude towards the medical profession. Having completed internship at Mitchells Plain Hospital and community service at Cecilia Makiwane, she became am well-equipped to serve communities and provide exceptional care that exceeds expectations. Her dedication to the field and commitment to excellence make me a valuable asset to any healthcare team
Dr Mopp works with communities and families taking all of their living factors into consideration into her care, seeing them as more than a patient or number.
Dr Mopp found her love for Women and Children’s Health in her years in general practice, where the lacking knowledge in many women and parents, where education and spending time with families could improve, has caused more unwanted circumstances.
I believe General Practice is a core part of Primary Healthcare and should be treated with respect by Doctors, Nurses and Patients.
