Bsc Physiotherapy (UCT) 

In 2020, obtaining her BSc Physiotherapy degree from the University of Cape Town, lead her to realize her passion for understanding how the human body works, heals and how body mechanics are used during sport and everyday life. I believe that the human body stores natural wisdom to allow healing and recovery to take place. Through movement, we can learn to listen to this wisdom and understand how to apply it to heal ourselves. 

She enjoy’s being a physiotherapist as it allows her to utilize her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, manual therapy, biomechanics, and exercise therapy to resolve and correct a wide range of conditions. Cindy prides herself on combining different approaches and knowledge she has acquired, into her daily practice. This has developed into a life-long journey based on inspiring and empowering others to overcome health challenges injuries and prevent future injuries through targeted exercises programs. She is dedicated to continuous skill development and committed to staying up to date with the latest researched based treatment to ensure the best and highest quality and outcomes for her clients. 

 Cindy offers comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation plans tailored to everyone’s needs. The treatment modalities include soft tissue release, mobilizations, and dry needling techniques, all designed to alleviate pain and restore function.

 She believes what sets her apart is her strong emphasis on exercise-based rehabilitation. Cindy believes that exercise is key to facilitating recovery and preventing injury recurrence. That’s why she incorporates strength and conditioning, into her rehabilitation programs.

Cindy’s special interests are sporting overuse injuries, lower back, lower limb, shoulders, biomechanics and return to performance.
